The Company was notified on 6 February 2004 that Mr W H Humphries, a non-executive director of the Company, has today sold 500,000 ordinary 5p shares of the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) at a price of 235p per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this sale, Mr W H Humphries no longer has a beneficial interest in the issued Ordinary Share capital of the Company.
